SUPERVISION

BEING A HYPNOTHERAPIST IS INCREDIBLY REWARDING WORK, BUT IT CAN ALSO BE PRETTY SOLITARY

There's a solution.

When you first start out with your brand-new skills, you often don’t feel like you’re ready to be unleashed on clients – all while you have to speak and look as though you are absolutely certain of what you are doing.

As you start to gain confidence, you also get exposed to more clients and more complexity. You have to master local legislation, the confidentiality issue, and maintaining your credentials; but you also have to know how to handle complex cases and how to manage your time, keep yourself safe and expand your skills set.

Even as an experienced practitioner, it is still extremely helpful to share your experiences and receive support from someone who gets where you are and what you do, someone who can help you clarify and set out your course for growth.

AS AN EXPERIENCED HYPNOTHERAPIST COACH AND SUPERVISOR, I CAN HELP YOU GROW, NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY.

As a CBT hypnotherapist, a qualified ICF coach and General Hypnotherapy Register Acknowledged Supervisor, I have worked with hundreds of clients in the Middle East and France.

My role as a coach or supervisor is to supportively help you find the answers in your own strengths, knowledge, and instincts. Wherever you are in your career, I aim to help you continually grow in confidence and autonomy.

DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFERENT NEEDS

I coach hypnotherapy students in their studies and practical assignments. I also supervise individual hypnotherapist professionals, on a one-to-one basis and in my monthly peer group sessions.

You can also book a free telephone or Zoom consultation to discuss your situation and coaching/supervision needs.

If you are registered with a professional hypnotherapy body, depending on your country, you may have to justify a certain number of supervision hours to maintain your registration.

I belong to the U.K.’s General Hypnotherapy Register (GRE), adhere to its Code of Ethics, and I am a GRE Acknowledged Supervisor. Newly qualified GRE hypnotherapists are required to undertake a minimum of 2 hours in any 3-month period during their first 2 years of practice. After that, supervision becomes voluntary, although it is encouraged as an ongoing process. I personally meet with my own supervisor for one hour every month.
